Prototypes of the world's fastest high-speed train, the CR450, with a test speed of up to 450 km per hour and an operational speed of 400 km per hour, are now undergoing type tests on Beijing's ring railways for future commercial services.

    Meanwhile German rail is falling apart and always late, while having the slowest high speed railway network in all of europe due to most sections not suitable for high speed, so the ICEs have to drive at “normal” speed. I envy China :(

    The livery and angular proprtions give it a nice fututistic look compard to the “half used soap bar” look of the most recent shinkansen designs
