Today I learnt that at beehaw.org
you don’t really have to break any instance/community rules to have your comments removed by the admin. In their wiki page they wrote over the top, corporate-sounding articles about how “Beehaw aspires to be a diverse place” where “everyone plays an important role in that mission”, how they are against Reddit-style power mods and in favour of fair moderation, but the reality seems to be quite the opposite.
I’m really glad Lemmy is not Reddit and there’s always plenty of alternatives, which makes me appreciate Lemmy even more. No more yellow icons on my communities subscription list. 🏸🐝

Based on that I assume you didn’t actually read beehaws rules so I’ll take your post with industrial-sized bucket of road-salt
Wtf I love beehaw even more now
Those reasons sound perfectly reasonable.
Also how do you know that admin is a he? We have gender neutral pronouns you know? Use They/Them. It’s not a new concept.
[email protected] currently presents as male and provides his name and other relevant biographical information in his public profile.
You assumed OP’s ignorance of admin’s preferred pronouns. That assumption was unjustified.
You misgendered admin by pressuring the use of gender-neutral pronouns instead of admin’s own, preferred pronouns.
I think you can do better.
You are a sad fediverse user.
the beehaw admins have never pretended to be anything other than opinionated. the underlined articles sound stupid and I’m sure nobody is missing your dumb shit.
you are tedious and boring here also.
based admin
Try unilem. They have a policy of not defederating from other servers and as long as it’s legal it’s good to go. In other words they treat you like an adult who can decide for yourself what you want to see and read online.
making an account there. i always like to have a spare everywhere with the same username
These were pretty reasonable takedowns. If you wanna sling garbage without repercussion, there’s always hexbear
Beehaw is pretty notorious for their dictatorial approach to moderation. Pretty useless instance, IMHO.
