    I remember the first time I tried making a website the path I used for all my assets were my local folder locations. It never occurred to me that nobody else could see what I had on my C drive.

      Don’t worry. I work in a bank. We employ very expensive IT consultants. After the initial PPT that sold the project to our management, all they do is Word documents (“concepts”), mostly copy paste from other documentation. And all the links are file://C:/User/Joe/Temp/MuFiles/…

      Better this than not having some kind of restriction so everyone can see your entire C drive

    Imagine he annouces it everywhere and everybody just respond like this, without actually accessing the link or talking about the localhost issue.
