Maybe this is the path? Sue the living shit out of Fox every time they lie? Worked for Dominion Voting Systems and got a shit stain off the air. Surely there are enough liberal lawyers out there to run them into the ground?
Were I dictator of the United States tomorrow, my first act would be to shut down Fox News and hang everyone from management on up. Versus Fox News, no force in America shares even a tiny share of the blame for tearing this country apart.
I have a little education in journalism so I’m better than most at spying bias in news articles and TV. I’ll show you subtle bullshit in just about anything you put in front of me. FoxNews.com is pretty bad, but the TV version is fucking appalling.
Staying at my friend’s dad’s house for vacation and Fox was on 24/7. I mean that most literally. Dad and his old lady would smoke pot and sleep in their La-z-boys. They didn’t sleep in their beds once. If we changed the channel, the bitch would change it back.
The brain washing was fucking with my head. They said Obama so many times, I hated the man, never wanted to hear that fucking name again! Asked his dad, an intelligent guy, “Don’t you see the basic propaganda techniques? This is Brainwashing 101!” He just shrugged. Minutes later his wife is screaming, “The KKK aught to do their GODDAMNED JOB!” And this poison was blasting out of a 65" TV across a small living room.
Take me back to when we had 3 talking heads to deliver our news and chose who to watch based on our perception of trustworthiness. And for those who weren’t around, they all basically said the same things as any perception of bias was poison to broadcasters. Sounds like a prescription for state propaganda, but after Watergate journalists were hunting politicians for sport.
We absolutely need more of this. Fix lost a billion dollars to the voting machine manufacturer (IIRC), and you can’t hemorrhage that kind of money without eventually feeling it bite
A Fox News spokesperson said: “Governor Newsom’s transparent publicity stunt is frivolous and designed to chill free speech critical of him. We will defend this case vigorously and look forward to it being dismissed.”
I predict the requested on-air apology will be their out.
He shouldn’t accept an apology as payment. Money is all these people understand. The only way to get them to stop is to bankrupt them.
