Return YouTube Dislike is broken, but a fix appears to be in the works!
The fix is out now and the dislikes are back! Just make sure to update your extensions and you’re good to go!
HOLLAAAAAAA
Thank you, I’ve missed them!
It’s amazing how fast you people notice
I noticed IMMEDIATELY, a few days ago. I was like “WHY CAN I NOT SEE THE HATE”
I love DeArrow. I don’t use it myself but I find it hilarious how it will turn colourful and in-your-face thumbnails on a channel into just an endless sea of the youtube looking into the camera. The same shot over and over again, Like it eviscerates most youtube commentators.
I know a lot of us (mostly myself included) have more-or-less excised reddit from our lives, but I’m still a big fan of Karamel, a browser extension that replaces the Youtube comments with Reddit comments. You can see all the different subs a video’s been linked in, and that often includes specialist communities who have interesting things to say about a given video, usually way more focused than the youtube comment section. More than once I’ve found a sub I love but would never have discovered on my own, by seeing a video had been posted there.
Only for Chrome. Lame.
I use Vivaldi, which (being Chromium-based) supports Chrome addons.
There is a similar addon for Firefox, the starkly-named Reddit Comments For Youtube + Nebula
i wanted something like this to exist for long time. Since i use YT often for gatherings information, having a like/dislike ratio, the inability of the poster to delete comments (so the can’t shun disagreedment) and a comment tree structure where people can argue points, would be super useful and time saving
That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
The list is missing Yattee. Invidious and Piped app for iOS and tvOS.
This a nice clean complied list. Thank you for this 🌹
My Safari extension of choice for iOS YouTube ad blocking is vinegar.

Combined with Banish extension to stop the annoying “open in our app” nonsense when browsing the web.

No, I don’t want privacy exploiting app syphoning my personal data when the website will do.
I’ve pinned the YouTube website to my Home Screen in Safari and combined with those extensions I have a lovely experience with them.
For the record, the second filter script here “works,” but the “ad blockers are not allowed” popup still appears briefly before self-dismissing.
I was looking for something like PocketTube for a while, thank you!
the Android section is lacking LibreTube: https://github.com/libre-tube/LibreTube/
