    I dont want anyone to think we’re back in the summer of 2022 where inflation was up 9%

    I would hope not, because now its even worse. Even if inflation isnt at 9%, its on top of the 9% inflation from then, and other periods of inflation since then. Meanwhile wages havent gone up since then. People are being eaten alive at this point

      Exactly, inflation tracks the rate of change in prices and it cumulative. The real question is whether salaries are keeping up with the increase in cost of living or not.
