This is an interesting dilemma. There is only one moderator of that community, and it isn’t here.
If the administrator of this website has the ability to add or remove moderators from communities that were not built on this website, what’s to stop an arms race occurring, where multiple administrators across multiple lemmy instances start modifying the moderator list?
I’m going to assume that the only person who had the ability to add other moderators is now no longer capable of doing so, as their instance is shut down, but that’s a guess.
