      Please do share the seemingly mythical ethical source of needed products at an even vaguely competitive price, which we’re all forced to consider due to our wages being squeezed to shit by those with too much money already.

        What, like food and computers and bowls and stuff? Just, like, stores. For food I buy bulk dry ingredients, and I like second-hand places for electronics and house things. Not trying to be glib. Maybe I’m just lucky.

        I’m sorry if Amazon is your only option. My comment is only directed at people with the capacity and interest in avoid them.

    They probably wouldn’t do it if it didn’t work. My guess is some proportion of people didn’t like the one they got and will try to buy another, so they capture this by sending an email. Basically free for them to send an email so it doesn’t matter if it’s only 0.01% of people that it works on.
