I never understand this stubborn ignorance of any and all economic and labour concerns. Do some people think even considering them is some validation of the racist stuff?

The fact is that in America, we are worse off without immigrants. But people like you aren’t all that interested in facts like that, are you?

I mean first of all I’m not American. But understanding people’s concerns doesn’t mean you agree with them or definitely that you share them 100%. It’s not so black and white.

No one said you’re American. But it’s increasingly clear that you side with the anti immigration racists since you seem so keen on helping them pretend their “concerns” aren’t racist.

I think the economic and labour concerns are real and valid. Nobody wants to lose their job.

Okay, what is a concrete example of an American losing their job to an immigrant? Because from where I’m sitting, it’s seemed obvious for a long time that immigrants take jobs no one else will do. This idea that immigrants are taking people’s jobs is 99% false if not more.

If an immigrant is more qualified or willing to do your work, then do better and stop blaming your issues on others. Because frankly anyone who does that just looks like a whiny racist.

… jobs get created all the time. Why would we assume the opposite? I started off here thinking there was a chance you are being genuine but each exchange makes that seem less likely.

I’m not sure the jobs we’re talking about are ones that were created or exist because of immigrantion. For example, you said Americans don’t want to do certain jobs. I’d want to hear what jobs you meant by that, which jobs are those
