You guys get tux on boot?
So far i’ve only seen it when looking at gentoo install videos. I’ve never seen it show up on any of the distros i’ve used.
My first impression of this was trying to work out when and why would we see Tux during boot
It’s a kernel compile parameter but most Linux distros have it turned off by default 😔
The only time I’ve ever seen it turned on was on my raspberry pi
Last thing I need is one of my servers freezing up and having to document a ‘frozen on eight anime girl error’

How slow is your visual processing that you don’t?
I’ve been using rEFInd for my dual boot and it shows a Tux, but that’s mostly cause I haven’t been tinkering with it. Now I’m tempted to use anime girl personifications of OSs instead, which would be really classy, I bet.
I’m sure this distro has something like that.
