A federal jury in New York found three Israeli brothers —Oren Alexander, Tal Alexander and Alon Alexander— guilty of running a sex trafficking ring for years that exploited women and teenagers , in one of the most high-profile trials in recent US history, which has been mired in the Epstein scandal in recent months .
The three defendants, members of the luxury real estate company Real Estate, were convicted on charges related to sex trafficking and other crimes after a six-week trial in a federal court in Manhattan.
During the trial, 11 women testified that one or more of the brothers had sexually abused them in separate incidents over several years. According to the testimonies presented to the jury, some victims stated that they were lured to high-end private parties, where they were subsequently drugged and sexually assaulted .
The prosecution stated that the defendants used a repeated pattern to commit the crimes. The prosecutor in the case, Andrew Jones, asserted that the brothers acted as “predators disguised as partygoers ,” noting that they employed a consistent method to lure, isolate, and abuse their victims .
Oren Alexander and Tal Alexander were well-known figures in the New York luxury real estate market and co-founded Official, a firm specializing in exclusive properties. Their brother, Alon Alexander, worked as an executive at a private security company.
The case generated widespread media attention in both the United States and Israel due to the defendants’ high social profile and their presence in high-level business circles . Among the Alexander brothers’ most frequent clients are Leon Black, Lindsay Lohan, Liam Gallagher, Kim Kardashian, Steve Madden, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Tal Alexander faced seven charges , while his brothers Oren and Alon each faced six charges .
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton stated that the verdict sends a clear message against sex trafficking. “This verdict cannot undo the harm suffered by the victims, but it sends a message: New Yorkers want to end sex trafficking in all of our communities,” he declared.
Alon Alexander’s lawyer, Howard Srebnick, told the court that his client should be ashamed of his conduct, although he maintained that it did not necessarily constitute a crime .
The brothers were arrested in December 2024 and have remained in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn ever since.
The Tal brothers , Oren and Alon Alexander, appeared mentioned in the so-called “Epstein files” only through an unverified public tip in an FBI phone record (EFTA01660679).
A woman testified that she had seen them at Jeffrey Epstein’s parties in New York and reported sexual assaults, including accusations against Oren and Tal for raping a 14-year-old and a 9-year-old.
It should be noted that the brothers’ names first appeared redacted, supposedly, according to FBI Director Kash Patel, to “protect the identity of victims and unconfirmed defendants.”
Like the Alexander brothers, Epstein operated in the financial and real estate sectors, with clients of similar stature. He also represented the Rothschild family, a European-Israeli banking empire, as he himself stated in a 2016 email revealed last January.
