So now they don’t have AI that works, they don’t have workers that work, and now everybody knows they’re ready to throw the workforce into the trash bin as soon as they think they don’t need us anymore. I hope their businesses crash and burn.

I’m beginning to think the point of ai is to justify layoffs that were already going to happen.

And that as shitty as ai are, management doesn’t give a fuck. They got rid of a bunch of paychecks. After all, the CEO isn’t the one calling up the customer service line and fighting his way past a robot to get some service.
