The seat warmer in your vehicle should have a back-only option for when your back hurts and you don’t want to cook your ass.

What? My cars have had seat warmers for two decades and none of them have done that.

OK but get this. There are new cars that are coming with AC seats, you can also control the back separate from the seat

          Eh

Going from my experience – especially with that Escalade – the interior really is shit, especially for a “luxury” model. A lot of the interior has not aged well and is falling apart … and wasn’t really that nice to begin with. But the actual vehicle is pretty solid. Engine and the rest of the drivetrain are going strong, despite having tons of miles and tons of abuse (I mostly use it for towing/hauling – often at or above its maximum rated weight – and dragging things around a horse pasture). Since I only use it for jobs a minivan can’t accomplish, I pretty much only use it for very heavy hauling and nasty off-road driving. And as a work truck, it has been very sturdy and reliable. Had a radiator leak when I first got it, and because of several half-assed repairs to that, it went through quite a few episodes of overheating. Finally got that fully sorted though, and despite the abuse, it has still been very dependable, a workhorse with the best of 'em.

Maybe that’s just the LS-based engine and truck-based drivetrain, though. I can’t speak much to other GM models from the era, since I haven’t owned any.

Some luxury models have this, including massage settings. To be honest I dont miss it. But seat cooling would be nice in hot summers.
