In the logo it’s like “A ^the Lord of the Rings™ Game”
They were probably as pained as you are with having to include the full name due to the license, and this was the best way around it, I suppose.
Not sure if it’s just me but I get the vibes they are trying to piggy back off the success of other cozy life sims. Looks like a lazy effort, but it’s just a trailer. I will wait and see reviews before putting any money into it.
It’s possible, but the dev is mainly a “special effect and props” company who has worked in movies for quite a while, including The Lord of the Rings movies. From what I can see, this seems to be their first foray into gaming, which could explain some of the “lazy effort” look.
I see. It’s just my interpretation from the trailer. I do really hope it’s a good game, we need more of them!
