Ahsoka v Morgan round 2 was sick. I hope Ahsoka keeps the sword of Talzin and doubles down on the ronin vibe.

Those Night Troopers look so cool. If I’m not mistaken, there are heavy Japanese influences, their armor wrapped in red cloth and mended with gold, a practice called kintsugi the Japanese use with broken pottery.
I thought it was a post-Vader Anakin. His lesson to Ahsoka, in my eyes, was that his life, her life, as soldiers led them to a “fight or die” mentality, though maybe “kill or die” is a better way to put it. That’s what drove him to the dark side. Only by the end of his life, as he learns from Luke, there is another option.
“You’re never too old to learn” isn’t just in reference to Ahsoka’s age, but in reference to this last lesson he learns from his son, that he now passes onto her.

Probably an unpopular opinion on here, but the OS I recommend for grandparents and parents is ChromeOS. It’s so locked down that it’s almost indestructible, and they almost never need any specialized software that you’d use Windows/MacOS for. If you’re savvy enough you can also use Linux on it in a container, which is how I prefer to use it for day to day stuff (in my case, data related workflows).
Absolutely fair, I don’t think that’s a feature yet. You could try requesting it, @[email protected] is super responsive!
You’re contributing too! Memes, posts, comments, are all vital for Lemmy. Without it there is no community to interact with via the instances/apps.
Personally, I love the UI/UX of it and how customizable it is. For me, it’s unparalleled, and I’m happy to pay for it to support the independent developer behind it. But I get that not everyone cares about it and would rather use a different option, and it’s cool that there are so many different options to interact with the fediverse.

It’s also just one dude. I’m very okay with supporting this one dude who makes what I think is the best app for this purpose, cuz I want him to keep doing it and to be able to do it full-time!
RCS is just a standard, much like how SMS is just a standard. Google’s Messaging app is just one implementation of it, though it probably is the most popular in the US it is not the only one, nor is Google able to decide who cannot use it. Carriers typically have their own, though you may have recently heard that T-Mobile decided to switch over to Google’s.
