Because honestly, the US owes so many reparations that it wouldn’t possibly be able to afford to pay them and still exist. The point needs to be driven home to people that reparations will require the dismantling of the empire, not the continuation of it.

Note that this is entirely different from destruction of the people, that would not be decolonization but reverse colonization/revenge, but the current socioeconomic structures and status quo need to go, AKA a cultural revolution.
