What do you think about screens in movies and television?
Personally, I hate it, and have abandoned many productions because of it.
In most cases:
- you can see that they are artificial
- interfaces don’t make sense. Often the cursor is missing, etc.
But Searching and Missing showed that if there are willingnesses, it is possible not only to prepare well, but to base an entire film on them.
I don’t have problem with it when it is done right.
I liked cameo from Czech TV presenter in Spiderman - it was small detail but everything was done right, it looked exactly like Czech news.
But when it is some cheap screen recording playing on loop I am torn from the story immediately.
C’mon it is not that hard to customise some Linux DE to satisfy some unixporn lovers.
