A law enforcement source told our sister station, ABC7 Eyewitness News in New York, that the suspect’s unmasked smile came as he flirted with the front desk clerk who checked him into the hostel, and encouraged him to drop the mask so she could see his smile. The suspect obliged, pulling his mask down long enough for the surveillance camera to capture his face.
Oof.
It took the cops 2 days to figure out he left the state. Great work 👏
Remember, those cops are getting their claims denied too. They have every reason to slow walk this…
The only people that I know of who aren’t dealing with this clusterfuck are the current and former congress critters, the military, and I believe federal employees / executive and judicial branches. Everyone else is getting fucked the same.

I know for a fact that the congress critters and the military don’t. I’m less certain of federal employees… there’s no way the president is going through health insurance the way we are. Or SCOTUS. Some low level paper pusher? Maybe they’re on the same system we are.
You do realize that the humongous, vast, overwhelming majority of the federal workforce is not made up of elected officials and political appointees, right?
The federal government is the United States’s largest employer.
