You guys have been so awesome providing a list of Fedi clients. I will update the list based on you guys feedback. I ask for assistance once again. I want to make a running list of Fediverse projects. There are so many interesting projects that deserve attention and devs that deserve recognition. I am working on fediverser, which aims to create bridges between the “traditional” (i.e, shitty) social media networks to try to bring the people who post good content.
Could this work with YouTube? I would love to use PeerTube but have access to the content from YouTube I enjoy
Not yet, but eventually yes. The question is honestly who would be willing to foot the bill of hosting all those videos.
Lemmy specific: https://lemmyverse.net/
Probably the best way to search for communities, though feddit.de had one earlier I think?
Masto/microblog specific: https://a.gup.pe/ though you probably know that one already dame.
Generally though, these services, especially the first two you list @[email protected] really emphasise the value that secondary or extra-platform platform services can bring.
I’d suspect, as an ecosystem architecture, leaning more into extra-platform services and reducing the expectation that every platform does everything would be a path to a more fruitful and sustainable fediverse.
Devs on the Fedi gotta find a way to work together better!
And of course, although it’s already in the Lemmy community sidebar:

Ayy, this is excellent. Double // on the Fediview link though
Thank you for that correction. I am glad you find this list to be helpful.
FediDB provides a curated list of software, https://api.fedidb.org/v1/software
Thank you! Adding it to the list now
