So I really enjoyed this. I enjoyed Captain America too, but this was just objectively better. Good work Marvel.

Yeah, but to be fair. I look forward to all the films. Except the Ant-Man films and yet when I do eventually watch them, I enjoy them. Fantastic 4 has the potential to be the first one I don’t gel with, but that’s just PTSD from all the previous iterations. I take it you’re excited?

I was out of the loop of Marvel content for a while (last thing I saw was Deadpool & Wolverine) and went to watch Thunderbolts at the cinema to kill an evening.

It was way better than I expected. It’s not “absolute cinema” by any means, but the plot is pretty interesting and it touches on some sensitive subjects in a thoughtful way.

Overall I think it’s worth your time if you want to follow the upcoming Marvel movies.

Some Marvel fans may have been overhyping it, but it’s still a great movie. Surprisingly emotional and deals with mental health issues. Definitely better than Captain America: Brave New World.

As a Marvel fan, I don’t think it’s been overhyped. But I have thought some former movies were overhyped.

I do think it’s even better if you’re familiar with the characters though.

I saw it in the theater and really enjoyed it, and then watched it again last night when it became available. It held up. Like MrLuigi002 said, it’s not “absolute cinema” but I’d say it’s in my top ten for MCU films.
