    2 people “stole” $1400 worth of merch made by a multi-billion dollar company and sold by a multi-billion dollar retailer. I don’t see the issue that’s a rounding error on a spread sheet to the companies

      It’s not a rounding error. Its cost gets spread across other products in the store, meaning everyone pays for them. Walmart isn’t just gonna take the loss themselves.
