I just found epoxy putty and it has changed my mindset on repairing plastics.
LCD is probably cracked in the corner. The replacement may not be worth it.
Bottom cover is metal, the top cover plastics broke off with the henges. Then there’s the cable damage. But I’ll def look into the puddy.
And nah, it’s being “retired”
Oh, if it is just the cable, you might be able to fix it for under $30.
Is it possible to fully repair, ya of course. But the labor + parts, and higher chance of the electronics being weakened/damaged…it’s a corporate device anyways.
Oh, it’s a corporate device? That makes it parts. I was under the impression it was for someone you knew.
Did they bend the back over so it has legs to always stand at an angle. If not what am I looking at?
