Hello me hearties. I have a question about the Streamio app/Service.

I travel full time and with all the paid streaming services requiring a ‘home’ IP address I’m now looking for alternatives.

Streamio seems to fit the bill, however I have one question. Although I will be streaming to one or maybe 2 devices, I would probably like to use REAL DEBRID, But, Can I use different IP addresses, for example, one week I might be in Japan, the next week I’ll be in Thailand.

In my case would it be best to purchase my own private IP from a VPN provider?

Any advice would be awesome.! Thank you

Some debrid services care, real-debrid.com only cares if you try yo stream to 2 IPs at the same time. They’ll block your access instantly and send you an email. You’re allowed to do that mistake once before your account is permanently blocked and there’s nothing you can do, but it’s not exactly hard to avoid streaming to 2 different IPs at once.

    Also it’s called Stremio 😄

Hmm, I’ve gotten lucky. I’m constantly doing various things where it is all centralized from my place, but there’s no telling that she’s watching something without a VPN and I opened something in the living room while having a VPN connected. I’ve been trying to use split tunnels recently so my VPN stays on all the time, but I choose specific apps, so like my jellyfin server stays local, but if I torrent something the app goes through Spain, and I usually keep my phone/laptop going through another U.S. location to keep response times down. But I’m sure I’ve had the splits fucked up or just hitting everything before. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that. debrid has been great, think I’ve had 2 outages in 4+ months
