This and Pillar of Davidson are my favorites from Throwing Copper. The whole album is a solid 9/10. There really isn’t a weak track on it.
The lead up into the final chorus - specifically the change with the drums and bass - and the final chorus itself just go so hard. This song could have been a single.
That album is one of my all-time favorites. I also really like “white, discussion” and “waitress”
