Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck during an event at Utah Valley University, according to eyewitness accounts and reports from Deseret News.

A suspect has been apprehended, and a shelter-in-place order was issued for the campus, as confirmed by UVU campus police and a UVU alert sent to students.

Witnesses reported seeing blood after the shooting, and Kirk was rushed to a local hospital.

U.S. Senator Mike Lee stated he is closely monitoring the situation and called for prayers for Kirk and the attendees.

    This wasn’t a trump situation where he got nicked by a piece of something that broke and hit him in the ear. Would be insane if Charlie Kirk agreed to that. It was brutal.

      Oh, once I watch the video, I realized I was definitely wrong. Why I posted it below. It sucks that they are so dishonest on the right that my initial reaction was immediately that this was staged.

        My bad. I wasn’t paying attention to usernames and didn’t realize you were replying to your own comment. At least the response from the right is consistent with every other shooting. The response has been thoughts and prayers.
