better than harvesting underground wind energy
We just need to invest more into wind mining. The rich untapped wind reserves of the far north Yukon could be a boon to people the world over.

It is a bit strange that there is a preview picture shown here (in addition to the one I added), which isn’t included in the article.
I’ve never seen real world use of those flying turbines. What are their pros and cons compared to classic ones on the ground? What happens when it’s stormy?
The advantage is mainly the more steady winds at that hight.
But this is clearly meant as a temporary option that can be packaged in a shipping container and deployed after a disaster that took down a lot of infrastructure.
I’m usually pretty skeptical about Chinese tech claims these days, but I’m optimistic about this one.
