I know this site is dedicated to Samsung phones but the title could be framed better. Chrome isn’t just being stopped updating for older Galaxy phones, it is being dropped for all pre Oreo Android devices, so it has a much wider reach than just Samsung.
Also, why does Opera require Android 12 as a minimum system requirement? I haven’t used it on mobile but boy, they really cut off a lot of older android users.
Also, why is any human with a functioning brain using Opera?

No one on the fucking planet should be using this shitty browser anyway. Fuck Chrome, fuck everything that’s Chromium-based and fuck Google and their attempts to build a monopoly on browser engines so they can blast everyone with ads and extend their surveillance network. Use a proper browser with support for proper ad-blockers like Firefox or Mull or LibreWolf on Desktop.
