People have always been easy to manipulate. Especially in the type of social and ideological isolation the internet age has brought about. That’s why most city people are less right wing. Hard to villainize groups of people when you interact with them daily. Also hard to isolate into ideological containers when you interact with varied points of view contrary to your bubble.
It’s not just the city. I’ve moved to two small villages that are louder and more obnoxious than the city. It’s our culture and the devaluation of humanity.
Yeah, true, I’m not racist and I think being in multicultural environments since childhood was basically what did it, international boarding school, city with big international population, etc.
