      Not really.

      Looking at UK data from four years ago, with the exception of a handful of senior managers, the frontline civil servants working in nuclear science in the defence context only earns up to £80k (before location allowances and posting allowances are included). For a state actor with deep pockets, it would likely be well worth the investment to turn one of those employees with the offer of a mirror salary to “assist another project” elsewhere.

        …I make less than that and I have a server. They’re only about as expensive as computers.

        Granted, mine is all kids cartoons. I doubt any government wants them.

    Its for the best that nuclear secrets be kept separate from our strategic robo-porn reserves. These will be our 2 greatest weapons in the upcoming AI wars, and we can’t afford to lose both at once.
