    Please note eating these small packets of silica gel poses no risk to your health at all. Actually silica gel is used as a food additive and can be as high as 5% in the EU and 2% in the US.

    The reason for the “Do not eat” warnings is because it’s a choking hazard, nothing more, nothing less.

        lol factor in the rest of the food regulations and that story is very, very, very different.

      Silica beads can kinda pop and shatter if immersed in water though. I don’t think it would be a huge risk but it doesn’t sound pleasant

        Back during my freshman year of college, we robotripped a lot. The feeling of 40 gelcaps popping in your stomach at once is really bizarre.

        Yeah nobody said it was going to taste good or be pleasant to eat even, it would probably suck. But it won’t hurt you, not physically at least.
