China is better at being a dictatorship, better at harming democracies around the world, better at funding terrorism and coups, murdering dissidents, cracking down on protests, destroying culture and history, military aggression and border expansion, running illegal organ trades, encroaching on habitats of animals capable of spreading pandemic level plagues, selling aforementioned animals in wet markets, etc.

There are dozens of countries that are better in any metric than the US, and China is the least of them.
