The entire goal of startups is to conquer market share as fast as possible disregarding profitability because true profitability comes from having a monopoly, and that goal is simply gone. Their best bet now is to conquer their domestic market and europe through chauvinistic rhetoric against the Chinese competition, could happen but it’s gonna be an uphill battle when the chinese alternative it’s a fraction of the price.
