I grew up with xterm and can still remember switching to rxvt-unicode to finally get UTF-8 support (The distro I was using back then made the switch to all UTF-8). Konsole is fine for me: It just works
I suppose. I’m personally picky about things like sixels and the kitty and iterm2 protocols.
