Please, no need to exaggerate. What if you don’t close the writing session? What speed can you write at so there are no errors and it keeps the longest? How do you avoid buffer underruns? How do you write an ISO as an image instead of a file? Will it bootable too?
You can mount and write to CDs like as easy as if it were a USB stick. The hardest part now is getting a CD drive.

Do you not have a collection of Blu-ray’s or even DVDs you always wanted to rip to your Jellyfin server? That’s at least my excuse for having a drive.
I do have a USB CD drive. But i had to go out and buy it. Ive only used once to get a bunch of family photos off old CDs.
