When I’m dead, I won’t be unhappy.
Moral of the story is that life sucks now and it’s harder and harder to actually get to do the stuff that makes you happy anymore.
Nah. I look at it more that you shouldn’t put off certain activities because you’ve got time in the future. You need to prepare for the future, but putting all effort into making the future better without enjoying the present is going to lead to a lower quality of life.
I mean the line implies they were happy at times, but there is no happy ending, you don’t become happy and stay that way. There’s always more work, more goals, more pain AND more joy, at least I til it’s over, then there’s just nothing. I find it best to accept that it’s all pretty bland, and the less you worry about how bad it is, the more you can actually see the good in what you’ve got now
What’s with the spacing around the punctuation?
I am guessing that it is a bad text editor
All is well that ends well.
… but some megacorp mf better not resurrect me & make me go to work after death.
I’ll get up for a quick skeleton war (I’m contractually bound), but that’s it.If they brought back people from death, I wonder if the revived people would care about dying to bring the corporation down.
Moral of the story: You will never be happy.
No the moral of the story is to not put off the things in life that will make you happy or fulfilled to some more convenient time. Sometimes you gotta rip off the bandaid and try new things. Sometimes you’ll fail but you’ll be happy you tried and failed rather than never trying at all.
Yes I know but mine is funnier
agreed
Maybe anarcho-primitivists were right all along…
