Gun nuts dropped the “tyrannical government” government thing long ago. I watch a lot of GunTubers and it never comes up. As with any subject, I’m sure we could find fruitcakes propounding any nonsense, but no one even close to mainstream talks about this.
Reading comments like is reminds me of a conservative ex-friend telling me, “liberal believe bla bla bla”, and asking him, “What echo chamber is feeding you that bullshit?!”
It was always about a tyrannical government with the unspoken “that I don’t agree with.”
