      It’s a thing people like. Everyone knows it’s staged,but it’s fun.

      With the masks, this seems to be Mexican Lucha libre, which can get quite crazy (like Jesus fighting midgets or something) and quite a spectacle to beholdin person. I would completely recommend you go see a show if you’re ever in Mexico, great ambiance, greet fun

      I used to follow a guy on Tumblr who ended up watching a lot of daytime TV while recuperating from surgery.

      He came to the conclusion that wrestling was essentially a soap opera designed to be socially acceptable for men to watch.

        Its definitely a soap opera but with some of the scratching clawing and punching that you only get 1 per 10 episodes of through the whole thing.

        Bad over acting. Dramatic storylines. Murder, conspiracy and twins. Its absolutely ridiculous but I really like some of the people who have done clearly years of gymnastics to do their performance. Oh and caricature types like Boogs who looked like 1980s drag while shredding electric guitar.
