Wow. That is so clear. You can see the agent watch the gun pulled from the back and once it was removed the agent shot him.

and he’s even aiming for a good moment, it’s not that he upholstered and inadvertently gave off a shot, he did pull the trigger in a conscious and determined action

He was holding a phone, but had a gun bolstered on his hip. The gun was removed from his holster by the guy in the grey jacket moments before the ICE agent opened fire.

My theory is that he saw a hand pull the gun and panicked because he thought it was the victim’s hand.

He clearly panicked specifically to something, it looks like he panicked at seeing a fellow “agent” pulling the victim’s weapon. Not the weapon itself which he seems to be watching before drawing, but the hand removing the weapon.

Since he had tunnel vision on the gun, he failed to recognize the hand removing the gun as being separate from the victim.

Watch the video again, he drew his gun after the other officer had removed the victim’s gun. He then took the time to back away and reposition before shooting the victim

It seems pretty obvious that this was a retaliatory killing for the protests Friday and they targeted the guy with a gun so they could justify it for self defense

Exactly what I was thinking. The murderer who fired the first shot saw the gun, and even though it was another agent taking it, he saw it as a green light to execute Alex.
