Yup. Rage is epic. It got me through MANY sleepless nights. I had insomnia for 10+ years, sleeping 4-5 hours a WEEK. Rage helped. A lot.
Mind you, this was before pirating movies took minutes. Back then when i had insomnia chronically, it would take 4-7 days to download a movie on dialup.
I remember when download managers were invaluable. Leaving a download running overnight on trailer park internet, only to find in the morning that it had failed. Soul-crushing.

Hell yeah, so it was like your version of prime MTV2/Fuse TV, maybe. For awhile, they returned to their music roots and it was epic.

I look back now and remember how rewarding it was when that DivX file finally finished. “Hell yeah, movie time!”

My only counterpoint would be “downloading a movie and discovering Jordan Capri.”
Such good soundtracks, like almost every one of them puts you in that era.
