This was given to me by a friend today, who had visited a recent Mardi Gras parade. His girlfriend found it while randomly scavenging around.
It originally had a red rubber band on it, but that ended up cut and lost, hence the regular rubber band to keep it closed. Thankfully it was never used though.
Doubt it. I could throw a rock in any direction and probably hit a pickup truck with a couple of those in the center console. That’s just how it is in the rural US.
Sigh, sad but true…
Deer have over run some places in the east and need to be culled by humans, since we killed off so many wolves and bigger predators.
Also meat has gotten too expensive for a lot of people in those same rural areas.
It’s sad on all fronts i guess, but I understand your point too.
