    Does this mandate include OS’s with no GUIs? Are the asshats writing this aware that there’s more than just Windows and Apple?

      Or that an operating system is a broad definition with some “operating systems” not being able to do anything on their own (strictly speaking, Linux is an operating system in the technical sense. it provides calls, interfaces with hardware, and manages memory. Without a userland like GNUs, however, it can’t actually ask for an age. Are we suggesting that Linux should prompt for age at compile time? )

      I think these laws are written with focus on Mobile where such os and app/website signalling is more prevalent

        Yeah but technical definitions often times interact with and affect legal definitions. This often times results in a shit tonne of archaicisms to pop up and why lawyers speak fair folk, because sometimes a term in common parlance has an entirely different meaning in legallese.

      Probably. But they also aware that most of people use only apple or windows. Sadly, but in personal computers segment Linux is not very popular.
