EU should say “ok. We makin’ a deal with Iran then”, and essentially repeat the JCPOA with a few sprinkles on top, and some cash to pay for “tolls” while the strait isn’t properly de mined
I don’t think JCPOA would be on a table at this point, but both the EU and the Gulf states should absolutely make a deal with Iran and kick the US out.
Specific terms might change. Maybe big pile of cash as a “toll” in exchange for previous terms, or laxer sanctions with less direct cash. What matters is “the vibe” so to say
Again, why would Iran accept previous terms when they can just dictate terms to Europe now. They’ll put up a toll, tell Europeans they have to pay in Yuan, and that nobody can tell them what type of weapons they can make. What exactly are Europeans going to do other than say thank you?
