Bought an old Car Seat and weldid it on to the remnants of my old office chair. With a bit of steal tube in the midel, since the hidrolic hight ajustment was to long.

gonna show this to my wife. I think it might be her dream chair. one of the biggest things we look for in a car is the seat both in general comfort and getting in and out. Its like the only seat she can handle being in for over an hour.

To be honest, it’s not exactly light, so it’s not for everyone. It’s at least 20-25 kg.

I think it turned out ok. It’s already quite comfortable as it is. The only downside is that you can’t swivel on the spot, as the base is firmly welded in place. It’s not quite finished yet; the armrests are next. I was just too lazy to make them straight away.

That sounds lovely, but the one I found is actually just what I need, and it was a real bargain. It didn’t need to be particularly fancy, just comfortable and heating would have been overkill for me. So now I’ve got a chair that’ll probably last me at least 20 years.
