unfortunately it means voting for the non kook and for some folks that is a bridge to far. trump did not win by getting more votes than biden did in 2020. He won by harris getting almost as little as he did in 2020.

When Kamala harris stated that she was going to make the US military “the most lethal force” in the world, who do you think she was making that message for?

Yeah I guess having an actual primary where the party doesn’t just cheat to annoint a donor friendly genocide enthusiast would look too much like democracy for the Democratic party to ever tolerate.

I voted in an actual primary for the biden ticket. Do you actually think multiple primaries in a year are a realistic thing?

              In 2024? I doubt it.

In 2020? Sure, now see the rest of that sentence about the party not cheating to annoint a donor friendly genocide enthusiast.

Or so you think it’s totally normal that 4 people quit the night before Super Tuesday, moving Biden from 6th to first? Or that Warren held on long past the point where she had no chance to ensure the anti establishment vote got split? Certainly the late night phone calls Obama made to every establishment candidate polling ahead of Biden were a coincidence. And the Dem leadership adjacent members who’ve said on the record that Biden was chosen to stop Bernie and not Trump, that’s just regular party squabbles, right?

Do you really think the DNC has run a fair and free primary in the last 10 years?

Blame individuals for quiting. They are the ones that did it. The people you are complaining about were the alternatives to vote for. If the action is so bad then why would you want to vote for them?

I blame the party for offering them inducements to quit and making it know they’d ratfuck anyone who didn’t go along with the plan.

But mostly I blame Blue MAGA cultists who’ve kept their eyes squeezed tight shut any time their party is just as bad as the other one and every time the party has played dirty tricks to keep its donors happy at the expense of its voters. Because y’all are the ones letting them get away with it and continuing to reward the behavior with your vote.
