I think it’s the former. Whatever the US does is bad and whatever its geopolitical adversaries does is good because the U.S. says it’s bad, which means it’s good. The truth is, almost every global power does shady shit that’s objectively bad and instead of picking sides, we should use our voices and votes to influence a more positive, globally-minded government that ends military campaigns abroad unless the UN unequivocally supports intervention.
