Do you honestly to God think the Soviet Union went from a backwater semi-feudal empire that was suffering from famines every 10 or so years to a nation that beat America in the space race several times over within a generation by only having one guy do all the work while everyone else laid around?
Honest to God, do yourself a favor and at least read Chapter 1 of Lenin’s State and Revolution. If you do that you’ll at least be more learned on some of the 101 level stuff of what communists believe than a lot of the left-liberals that larp as socialists.
The Soviets were the first to space, first to send probes to Venus, first animals in space, first returning animals from space, first humans in space, and more. The moon landing was a huge milestone, sure, but the soviets took a number of firsts themselves.
Saying they beat the Americans in the space race several times over doesn’t mean the Statesians didn’t make it to the moon first, it means the Soviets beat them to many major milestones, yet this is brushed under the rug.
