Biking is for poor, unimportant people. Real men drive cars. A mayor has to look professional and important by getting chauffeured around. It’s just unbecoming of his office.
It’s a slap in the face of all the hardworking folk that paid good money (or are still paying their loan) for a car by suggesting that cycling is actually okay and dignified and perfectly suitable for a man of his standing.
It’s also obviously a political move to snub the oil industry. He’s probably bought into the whole climate change hoax, so next he’ll come for your car too. Not to mention the reason for the whole circus around the Strait of Iran or whatever is them raising our gas prices. He’s basically saying it’s all pointless anyway because we don’t really need gas, and all the work Trump is doing to secure a good deal, a great deal, the best deal, is a waste. And what about the soldiers he’s disrespecting with that too?
Of course, the cherry on top is that he’s actively showing his disdain for Israel, who have been a loyal ally in the whole Iran thing. Of course, he’s a libruhl commie Muslim, so it’s no surprise that he hates them. Still, this is public confirmation that he’s evil.
Sorry if that got too real. I have far more experience with being a miserable, hateful piece of shit than I’d like, and definitely more than anyone should have.
