      As opposed to what? Employees still have to create accounts for the employees to be able to log in.

      How are workstations setup for people? Also here in Canada asking for an employee’s identification is illegal without consent because that is giving out personal information. We use Discord for public facing stuff at work and if it required Id we would have to shut it down. HR had to come to a bunch of technical meetings when they threatened require Id to use Discord to make sure we were following the law. We were 3 days from shutting the whole thing down before they went back on their decision. We were going to do it the day before so nobody had to put their Ids in. Discord was that close to massive customer loss.

        Companies aren’t going around creating local accounts. That would be insane
