Love it. Reminds me of something I regret not doing: the parish that sponsored me through ordination was this beautiful gothic church and it had plaques everywhere and for everything. My personal favorite was the one for the air-conditioning (random plaque on a wall that said “The air conditioning of this church was given to the glory of God by [name I can’t remember] in the year of our Lord [date I can’t remember]”). So what I wanted to do was make a small plaque that said “This piece of gum was placed here to the glory of God…” and stick it underneath a pew near a random bit of gum and just never say anything, treating it like an Easter egg for either some curious child climbing under the pews or for when they have to restore the pews at some point.
