One thing I despise is how many fireworks events there are for events supposedly for veterans. Do you really think the best way to show your appreciation is by making a bunch of loud explosions?

I could still hear fireworks going off at 2am last night. At that point, you’re just a shitty, thoughtless person or group of people.

A lady i met said: Fireworks are a Circus, but for stupid people. And I had a really good laugh. They are neat when you first see them as a kid, but they have no replay value to me.

I feel like a miserable grumpy person because when I see fireworks now all I can think of is the environment and the fire risk.

Yeah. Environment, forest fires, and all the animals that can hear better than us being petrified by the noise. Drone light shows are way better.

I feel that, but also my entire rest of my family are migraine sufferers and 2/3 of our dogs go scared and crazy when they go off, July is one of the worst times in our family. I wish people could constrain it to just the 4th instead of like June 30-july 14th
